WEB TRAVERSER Single Axis Motion Marking System On Automation-Plus, Inc.

Automation-Plus offers a number of accessories for marking single or multilane packages where product motion does not allow the use of stationary printing devices. Our traversers can be used with continuous ink jet printers, DOD inkjet printers, Thermal transfer printers, and cartridge printers.

For Rollstock and other wide web equipment we offer belt driven traversers that move the printing device past the substrate to be marked during a dwell cycle in the packaging process. The belt drive is simple, fast and easy to maintain. All of our belt traversers use an industrial PLC controller with operator interface. This provides a fully programmable system for a variety of package configurations.
