The ECM-501 system provides a rotating spindle to mark around the circumference of a product. Cylindrical products such as connector bodies or back shells are set on the spindle and rotated while the inkjet printer is triggered. Spindle rotation is activated by a foot switch or optional photo sensor. The print head is positioned using fine pitch screw driven slides and can be set to mark anywhere in a cylindrical area 8 inches in diameter and 6 inches in height. The print head holder rotates from 0-90 degrees around the Z-axis to allow the printing on hard to reach surfaces.
